VMA Alumni Membership Guidelines

The VMA Alumni Association offers free membership to members of the VMA community who have had substantial engagement with the VMA. In particular:

Past registrars of VMA who have completed their training with VMA
Past registrars who undertook at least 12 months of their training with VMA
Current GPT3 and GPT4 registrars enrolled in AGPT through VMA
Past and current program staff including medical educators and supervisors
Past and current Board Members

Membership is not open to anyone not associated with the AGPT program or who has withdrawn from the AGPT program.

Personal and professional development

The VMA Alumni offer opportunities for personal and professional development and networking. There are also opportunities to undertake research projects and access research grants.

Events

The VMA Alumni offers a range of events throughout the year that alumni can access. These events are an excellent opportunity to remain connected with VMA, and network with your fellow alumni.

Access alumni networks

Members of the VMA alumni community gain access to VMA alumni networks for professional and social networking. Stay in touch with colleagues or to make new contacts

Career Opportunities

Keep up to date with employment opportunities. Alumni members can post their own practice vacancies and access other practice vacancies and university posts as well.
