Appointment of Associate Professor Neil Spike as VMA Director of Medical Education and Training.

The Victorian Metropolitan Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Associate Professor Neil Spike to the newly established position of VMA Director of Medical Education and Training. After a recent VMA Board review, it was determined that the organisation needed to appoint a full-time Director of Medical Education and Training, employed directly by the the VMA, to drive change operational and strategic change within the VMA. The appointment marks a significant change from previous Director appointments which were part-time and sub-contracted through our partnership with Monash and Melbourne Universities. The VMA would like to acknowledge the excellent work of Associate Professor Lyn Clearihan during her time as the University appointed Director of Medical Education.
